Not only me, the last three days millions of viewers all over the world are viewing this phenomenon and communicating through Saibaba news.

Regards to All.

Sairam to all

Many devotees in Mumbai could see Baba's face outline clearly in Moon just now. While some could get clearer features, I could see only the outline. Some from Gujarat and Vizag in India also confirm having seen it. If anyone is reading this mail just now can attempt to see.

The Power of Bhagawan's Vibuthi

Among All the Gods, Vibuthi dons the Forehead of Shiva, Lord Shiva stands for Patience and Love. Very rarely do you find Lord Shiva opening his third eye, Even when Ravanasura attempted to lift mount Kailasa even when Bhasmasura attempted to burn him, He did not open his dreaded third eye.

Every Person who puts Vibuthi should inculcate this great quality of Patience, Why do people always put Vibuthi on the Forehead, it is where all the forces of the Body unite to create one's self. Putting God's sacred Vibuthi there makes one's thoughts, deeds and actions pure. Vibuthi should be applied with Good Thougths only then can anyone feel its power.Telling lies, filling yourself with evil thoughts and applying my Prasadam on your sacred forehead will not have any effect.

Everybody applies Vibuthi after Prayer, let the good thoughts emenating during prayer continue while you partake of the Prasadam.

Swami does not give Vibuthi just for the sake of giving it, There is always a deeper significance when I give Vibuthi to anybody, I do not waste my Prasadam on everyone. Whatever I give from my hands should not be wasted, I always give everything for a purpose, Whatever I give to anyone , even the most smallest gift will protect him , Swami does not distinguish when giving his LOVE, All are one before me. Just like when I give something it is filled with Pure Love , You should use whatever I give properly, Swami is very sad when the things he gives are not utilised properly.

When I give Vibuthi to you , it is meant only for you, Does not SWAMI KNOW THE Problems of others, DO not question as to why Swami has given him and not me?. Be happy with whatever Swami has given you, Do not ask for more, because I know how much to give each and everyone.

Miracle of our Sai Baba by Arvind J. Mehta

Miracle of Our Sai Baba

It was Thursday and it was 3Ist of August 1978. On that day early morning we, I myself and my wife, had gone to Harkisondas Hospital to see our ailing relative. On our return from there we went to Piramal House, Lalbaug, Parel, to submit some papers to Income Tax Authorities. When this was done, we went to Lalbaug, Parel to board a bus for going to our place at Santa Cruz. It was noon time and the day was very hot. A double decker bus came and my wife boarded it. While I on my part was about to board the bus, catching hold of the bar on the rear side, lost my grip and was thrown out on the road. Fortunately for me and by Baba's grace though my body was lying on the road my head had not dashed against the road. By the time the bus could stop, on hearing shouts from my wife and other passengers, it had gone almost 20 feet from where I had fallen. My wife and some other passengers came running by my side expecting to see either my dead body or to see me with multiple injuries on the head and other parts of the body; but by the GRACE OF OUR BABA I was lying there quite alive and without any injury whatsoever either to my head or any part of my body and HIS ANOTHER GRACE at that time was that not a single vehicle had followed the bus, when I had a fall. If any had followed, I would have been crushed to pieces under that vehicle.

That day was a great day for me and for my wife and family since that day I got a new life by the GRACE OF OUR SAI BABA. Isn't it a GREAT GRACE and MIRACLE of BABA, who has given me another life on 31st August, 1978?

Selected Quotes of Swami

SWAMI - PLEASE BLESS ALL OF US ALWAYS IN ALL WAYS

Sairam to Sai Family!

(A) When you have had something for a long time and taken it for granted, you may not appreciate its real value. It is only after losing it that you truly appreciate it. As long as you have your eyes, you do not know the value and the preciousness of your eyes. You only realize the importance of vision when you lose your eyesight. In the same way, when you have good health and all your faculties are in their full glory, you do not understand their true value.

(B) After having lost your health, and when your faculties have become impaired, then you repent and lament that all your capacities and powers are gone. But lamenting at that point is useless. During youth you have allowed the bad habits and bad traits to become your great friends and get deeply rooted within you. You squandered and misused the capacities that have been given to you, blindly following your sensual desires. Later, these bad habits and bad traits become your principal enemies in old age.

Best Regards to all Sai Sisters & Sai Brothers

Thanks sai Keshav Prasad for sharing this with us.

Shree Baba's Leela

Shree Baba's Leela

I dare not claim myself to be a devotee of Shri Sai Baba because, for me
devotion is too difficult to define or attain. I know only this, that the
moment I think or look to Baba's picture my mind and heart is full of divine
thrill and peace. I never demand anything from Him. I feel improper to
demand anything from Him when I offer my prayers to Him. I believe in "HELP
YOURSELF IF YOU NEED HIS GRACE". Baba's blissful look itself is enough to
overcome all the anxieties and grief.

Baba's Mahima and strange ways of manifestations are beyond my
understanding. I shall narrate a few of many incidents, which had occurred
last year. They appear to me very strange because first Baba makes us to
undergo the sufferings and anxious moments and then helps us out of the most
difficult situation within a wink.

In March '77, my scooter was stolen in the night. After a frantic and
unsuccessful search at all possible places with the help of my friend Mr. Y.
K. Shrivastva, I lodged a complaint at the local Police Station.

While returning to my home I was very much worried how my family members
will face the loss. As anticipated they were worried; but I consoled them by
saying that let us leave everything to our great Baba to decide.

Before going to bed I looked to Baba and said, "So Sai! You wanted it this
way, o. k. have it and Good Night".

For three full days there was no trace of my scooter and slowly I was also
getting used to the loss. On the fourth day a CID Official came to my place
to inform me that my scooter is found in deserted place in perfectly good
condition. All were overjoyed.

I looked to Baba and asked, "Why did you want me to go
through this?"

In August '77 I was returning from a picnic on the same scooter. Suddenly a
truck dashed against me and I was thrown away by that truck off the road
along with the scooter. Passers by helped me out and I found the scooter to
be O. K. Under a daze of confusion and mental shock, I reached home without
bothering to check up if I had any injuries. After changing I lay on my bed
in semiconscious state. I was alone in the house at that time. Within a few
minutes my friend Mr. Inder Dev Tahiliani came with his wife. He uttered
something and leaving his wife to look after me, he left the place in great
hurry. His wife told me that I was injured very badly and was bleeding
heavily and so he has gone to get a doctor.

Doctor gave me one injection and suggested to get my wounds stitched up,
which I flatly refused. Instead I applied Baba's UDI profusely. Meanwhile my
wife also came home and all were very much disturbed; but I consoled
everybody by saying that our Baba is great and there is nothing to worry.
UDI did not leave the wound until it was completely healed up.

Next day after this accident, I asked my wife to get me my transistor radio.
She tried her best, but could not trace it anywhere. Then it suddenly dawned
on me that I had taken it with me to picnic and either someone had stolen it
or was thrown out when I met the accident.

Since the radio was a bit costly item, surprisingly all my family members
started blaming me for my negligence, forgetting all about my sufferings and
injury. I was wondering how selfish and materialistic this world is!

Anyway, after about a week my brother-in-law Mr. Deepak Mamtani suggested to
me to publish the matter in "lost Colum' of the local news paper. Seeing no
harm in it and without any hope I did the same Oh My Great Sai! The very
next day a police constable came to me asking me to come to the Police
Station and identify my radio, which someone had found by the side of the
road, where the accident occurred.

Well, I really wonder how all this is possible without our Baba's merciful
and kind blessings but then I also wonder why He wants us to suffer first
before He comes to help. Is it that He wants us to experience the grief or
is they all the rewards for our Karma?
Baba alone can explain this!

Eminent Devotees of Saibaba - Mahalsapati

Name Mahalsapati
Full Name Bhagat Mahalsapati
Lifetime ---- -1922

Mahalsapati

Brief Introduction :
Mahalsapati was the fortunate soul who gave a name to the saint whom we now know and revere as Sri Saibaba. He uttered 'Ya Sai,' when Baba made His first appearance at the Khandoba temple along with the marriage party of Chandbhai.

Baba used to call Mahalsapati 'Sonarda,' and later on 'Bhagat' i.e. close disciple.

Mahalsapati was a poor priest of the Khandoba temple, Shirdi.

He had only an elementary education, which the village veranda schools impart. He could however read his caste men's Bible, namely, Mahalsapati Purana, and would carry on the traditional worship of Mahalsapati at home and abroad.

Mahalsapati was a pious and orthodox Hindu, who first raised an orthodox objection to Baba's stepping into and residing at the Khandoba temple, which was in his charge, but soon developed into the most zealous admirer and ardent worshipper of Baba.

Mahalsapati had no worldly motives. He was ascetic in temperament and was highly detached. He took care not to be governed by lust or other low urges.

His goal in life was to get free from the cycle of rebirths (Samsara) and attain Liberation (Moksha) through the grace of Khandoba.

Mahalsapati was the first person that started doing ritual worship to Baba by applying sandal paste. Only Mahalsapati was allowed to place flowers and sandal on Baba's feet or neck. This developed later into regular worship by the use of sandal paste and flowers on Baba's feet, neck and finally on his forehead also.

Mahalsapati had the fortune of being in the constant company of Baba day and night. He had the great opportunity to sleep with Baba in the Mosque for many years.

Mahalsapati used to spread his own cloth and on that Baba would lie on one half, and he would lie on the other.

Baba would tell Mahalsapati, 'Place your hand on my heart and listen my remembrance of Allah, if that suddenly stops and natural sleep supervenes, wake me up.' Mahalsapati used to sleep in the Masjid even after the mahasamadhi of Sri Saibaba.

Baba would never let Mahalsapati get down the Masjid stairs once he entered in the Mosque at night. Even when Mahalsapati needed to go out for toilet purposes, Baba used to shout at him saying 'If you get down the Masjid steps, you will die'.

Mahalsapati has three daughters and one son. (One son died around 1896)

All that Mahalsapati owned was a mud house in the village, and seven and a halfacres of barren land without water supply, which yielded practically nothing.

To eke out his living, he followed the hereditary profession of a goldsmith. But in a poor village with very few houses and very few visitors, even this brought very little income. Once Khandoba appeared as an old Brahmin in a vision, and said to him, 'What? Can you not get your bread without practicing your profession of gold smithy?' Then Mahalsapati answered in the vision. 'Yes. I shall give it up'. Then Khandoba in the vision said, 'Touch my feet and hold them. This meant evidently, 'Hereafter, regard your subsistence as being dependent purely upon your holding to my feet and not upon your doing goldsmith's work.' From that time onwards, he gave up goldsmith's work in perfect trust (NISHTA AND SRADDHA) and lived by begging, that is, he became really a Sanyasi 'Monk', though living with a family.

Mahalsapati was very meek, obedient, and pious. He firmly adhered to a life of 'Holy Poverty' and Baba kept him to it. Baba protected him from all calamities in his worldly life and brought about Mahalsapati's spiritual uplift.
Today we can see Mahalasapti's Samadhi, Baba's Kufni, sandals, satka etc. at Mahalasapati house near Dwarkamai.
Mahalsapati's objection for Baba entering into Khandoba temple:
It was about 1872 perhaps that Saibaba entered the village along with a 'Barat', i.e. a bridegroom's party of Moslems headed by Chandbhai, Patel of Dhupkeda (in the 'Nizam's State'). Then Saibaba separated from the marriage group very near Khandoba temple at the outskirts of Shirdi and sauntered along till the threshold of Khandoba temple.

Mahalsapati, who was inside worshipping Khandoba, noticed Baba's presence and, with his usual civility, invited him to sit. After a few minutes, the fakir Baba remarked, 'How secluded and quiet a place is the Khandoba temple, best fitted for a Fakir to be in'. Mahalsapati's conservative outlook flared up and he protested the proposal that a Moslem should reside in Khandoba temple. This was, in his opinion unthinkable.

Most Moslems are iconoclasts, (i.e. breakers of images) and, therefore, Mahalsapati prevented Baba from entering the temple, which contained the images of Khandoba etc. Finding Mahalsapati's objection to be natural, Baba said, 'God is one for Hindus, Moslems, and all, but, as you object to my entry, I shall go'. Baba went away from there.

Baba's prophesy:
When Mahalsapati got a male child and took him to Baba and talked of Namakarana, i.e. the name to be given to the child, Baba, evidently to prevent his being too much attached to the son, told him 'Look after the child for 25 years and that would be sufficient'.

Mahalsapati did not then understand what Baba said. It later transpired that it was a prophesy of Baba as that 25 years period indicated the length of his child's life which was to end around 1922.

Mahalsapati's happy ending with Baba's grace:
The end of such a devoted person must necessarily be good, (sadgati). Mahalsapati died on September 12th, 1922. Baba knew the future of this devotee but gave him only hints.

Baba made this assurance doubly sure and granted him the merit of dying on an Ekadasi day (with God in his mind and His name upon his lips) just as he did for several other devotees.

As Mahalsapati's death was approaching, he retained full-consciousness and control of his mind. That was on 11th Sep. 1922 Monday (in the month of Badrapada, Ekadasi Somavara, sacred to Shiva and Khandoba) Having finished all his puja, he said to his family, 'To-day is my father's Shraddha (memorial) day. Finish cooking soon.
To day I close my earthly life and go to Heaven'.

So, Laxman, the Brahmin, came and finished the Sraddha at once and finished the rituals of food offerings to crows, cows, etc, and guests were fed. Then the family had their meal. Mahalsapati took betel and nut after his meal. After chewing a bit, he put on a kufni. Having near him, Bala Gurav, Ramachandra Kothe, etc., he told them all to do Ramachandra Japa. The Japa went on. His son was present, and he gave him his stick. Mahalsapati said to his son, 'Spend time piously in Uttama Bhakti Marga i.e. in holy devotion. All that I told you will happen.' The next day, early in the morning, Mahalsapati uttered the word 'Ram' and breathed his last. Thus he passed away in calm faith and cheerfulness.

Baba's Teaching to Mahalsapati for his spiritual upliftment:
'You had better sit upright. Do not go to sleep. Place your hand on my heart. I will be going on with remembrance of Allah, Nama Smaran, that is, a half conscious trance, and during that Nama Smaran, the heart beat would clearly show you that I am still having Nama Smaran. If that suddenly changes and natural sleep supervenes, wake me up.'

Baba's Saying to Mahalsapati:
When Mahalsapati often obtained leave of Baba to go for his night meal, Baba used to say, 'Go. I am with you.'

Surprise Darshan to Tirumala Tirupati Archaka's!!!!!!!

Baba gives Balaji darshan to Archakas at Tirupati

The Archakas of Tirupati have the habit of looking at the feet of Balaji Bhagwan and taking Padanamaskar before Suprabhatam (where God is woken up). They open their eyes only after this procedure.

One of the senior most archakas suddenly had a feeling one day that even after having served the Lord for 40 years, he was not fortunate enough to have his darshan. He prayed emotionally that if he had been sincere in his duty towards the lord, then the Lord must some day grant him his physical darshan.

The next day, as usual when the archakas went into the sanctum sanctorum for padanamaskar, the senior most archaka went in first. As he reached for the feet of the idol, his hands could feel the moist feet of a human body. Totally surprised, the archaka removed his hand and wanted to remove the covering around his eyes. But the fear of breaking the age-old tradition combined with his 40 year old practise, he refrained from doing so.

As he reached for the feet again and again, the same thing happened. He called out to the other Archakas and told them his experience. The other archakas too experienced the same warmth. For a moment the archakas got agitated and felt that some miscreant would be standing there but who could be so insolent to stand on the lord’s idol and that too when the sanctorum was thoroughly checked before being locked. Who could it be? Was it an illusion?.. Just that moment the archaka remembered the prayer that came out of him the day before. A thought flashed through his mind.....Was it the Lord himself ?

He hurriedly removed the covering and opened his eyes. What he saw shoked him. He gave out a shriek, hearing which the other archakas also removed their coverings and opened their eyes. A sense of disbelief went through them on what they saw. The idol was gone and Sri Satya Sai Baba was standing in its place.

Baba was standing in Chatur Bhuja form (with four arms). Baba was smiling. He looked at the senior most archaka and said--
“You wanted to see me. I am here. What do you want?”

The archaka was stunned and asked --
“When did I ask to see you? In fact, I asked for darshan of my Lord Sri Balaji.”

Baba replied --
“I am your Lord Sri Balaji.”
Taken aback by this reply the archakas asked again--
“How can you be Lord Balaji? You have always said You are Shiva-Shakti Swarupa. How then can you say you are Vaikunthathi-pathi Balaji?”

Baba softly replied--
“All are one, my dear children. God is one. He manifests in different forms and man worships the form to which he is most attached. All faiths are paths leading to the same goal. Why then do you see the difference?”

After a moments silence, Baba spoke again--
“I have come not to disturb any faith but to confirm everyone in his own faith. I respond to everyone with whatever name you call me. You wanted to see the Lord in form of Balaji and so here I am to fulfill your wish.”

So saying Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba dissappeared and the idol of Bhagwan Balaji was back in its place. Silence prevailed for some time. Later the archakas handed over the administration of the temple temporarily to their juniors and rushed to Puttaparthy.
The next day the Archakas of Tirupati were made to sit in front and as Bhagwan Baba came out for darshan, they sat with eyes glued at Him. As Baba came nearer, their hearts leapt in excitement. Baba maintained a little distance from them, looked sharply in their eyes, and asked --
“Today how have you broken the tradition of yester years. Every day morning, you look first at my feet and then at my physical frame. Today you are looking at my face first without even taking padnamaskar.”
As the archakas heard this, they fell at Baba’s feet. Baba took them into the interview room and spoke to them for a long time. Before leaving for Tirupati, they disclosed everything to our professors, who in turn told this to the students. Bhagia sir later personally asked Baba about this who confirmed that he had gone physically to Trupathi and given darshan of Balaji.
We call God by different names:
Krishna ------ by the Hindus
Jesus ------ by the Christians
Waheguru ------ by the Sikhs
Allah ------ by the Moslems
Jhulelal ------ by the Sindhis
and many other names in different religions.
We, students of Baba, believe that Baba is that cosmic Divinity, which is responsible of the creation, organisation and finally the dissolution of the entire Universe.
For us, students of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning , Baba is all the above forms. In fact He is that Primordial source from which all these forms have emerged. We place ourselves, heart and soul at His feet. We love you, Baba and pray that whatever happens in our lives, You should always remain the center of our lives.

First say about Sai...

Sai friends,

This is the first writing about Him the great Sri Sai Shiridi Baba and Bhagwan Sri Sai (Puttabarthi) Baba. I have totally surrendered towards Him and pray Him that i make sure about my writings reach people and also assure that they will love this blog.

As it says its all about SAI ...SAI...SAI...The great incarnation of All God. God is one and I believe He is the one.

As about me, am a small devotee of Him and wish my writings make people to see Baba through there eyes.

Eventhough some of us have not seen or lived in Sri sai Shiridi Baba's period ,His grace and blessings are still there with us. It seems the great Soul of Shirid Baba has passed to our Bhagwan Satya sai Baba who is living with us in Puttabarthi. Some people are so lucky to see him and be with him, Some people are lucky to hear His voice and Some of us are so lucky to be in his Period like Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekarar perival who is a true incarnation of Lord Shiva.

I bow to all my Gurus and start my blogging to reach millions and millions of people around the world. I have been in Baba's group very later at the teen age and regret of not knowing him from the childhood. As far as my i knew about memories last, i can share a little amount of knowledge about Him.
